Basswood band sawed to 13 inch diameter. Inside rim, freehand router. Hand carved, Background texture produced by a hand punch fashioned from a 16 penny nail. Finished with boiled linseed oil and paste wax. Adopted with modifications from a project in Wood Carving Illustrated (spring/summer 98) by W.F. (Bill) Judt.
